My wife and I are booked for next week at Marriott%26#39;s Springhill Suites downtown at 132 E Jefferson Street. I can%26#39;t find any TA posted reviews. I%26#39;d like to hear from someone who has stayed there--is it in good shape, is it in a safe area of town, what%26#39;s it close to? I still have time to change hotels if there are problems associated with this location.

While I have not stayed at Springhill Suites, it is in a safe location and within walking distance of most of the downtown sites and the river.
