Anyone have any idea%26#39;s on some neat things to do with our Mom%26#39;s on Mother%26#39;s Day? I was thinking Derby Dinner Playhouse, but the Moms are not really into the theater. Not much on spas either. We would really like to do something nice, but we are kind of stumped. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!
Mother's Day
Historic Locust Grove has a lovely brunch on Mother%26#39;s Day that coincides with it%26#39;s Gardener%26#39;s Fair. It is a very popular event and if the weather is nice, it is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. You can check it out at www.locustgrove.org
Mother's Day
There is a lovely Mother%26#39;s day cruise planned on the Belle of Louisville. Nice music, a two hour cruise and all the fun of the beautiful steamboat.
Good ideas! Thanks!!
I would imagine that the Star of Louisville would probably have a nice Mother%26#39;s Day brunch if you wanted to add food to a boat cruise. As far as land brunches go, The Oak Room at the Seelbach and Limestone offer very good brunches.
The Belle has food as well! They are having bluegrass music this year. Live. The Star seldom uses live music.
I just found out that the Belle of Louisville%26#39;s baby sister boat, The Spirit of Jefferson, will be doing a Mother%26#39;s Day cruise from 12:30-2:30. It%26#39;s a much smaller, quieter and more intimate venue. Yours truly (me) will be playing keyboard and singing with my husband, Mr. LLindaC and we%26#39;ll be playing lots of oldies, Moms%26#39; favorites and requests. There%26#39;s also a small dance floor if Mom wants to bring the old man!!! Come on down, it will be a fun day!
Linda - that sounds like a lot of fun. Any idea how much tics are?
