Executive Inn of Owensboro is a joke!

My stay at the Executive Inn of Owensboro KY was atrociuos! To been a so called luxury hotel, it was more like a motel 6. The food was awful as well at the accomodations. I wrote 4 comment cards, spoke to three different people at the front desk as well as emailed the management. I received no response...not even I%26#39;m sorry. I would never recommend waisting your money to stay at the Executive Inn. The rooms ar outdated, dirty and the AC didn%26#39;t even work. The prime rib buffet was a joke. I%26#39;ve had a better salad bar at pizza hut. The boiled egg were actually frozen. The big buffet they advertised consisted of prime rib (all fat and a steak knife wouldn%26#39;t even cut it), scalloped potatoes, beans and a salad bar with maybe 5 toppings. The room smelled, carpet filthy, bedspread worn and stained. The front desk help was NO help. When I complained their comment was ';well, no one else had complained!'; While staying there many of the guest I spoke with were just as disappointed as I was. Waste you mean. I have heard really bad comments about how this property has gone downhill. Used to be a great concert spot, etc, but no longer. Sorry about your bad experience and thanks for the comments.

I thought they had gotten new management, redecorated and improved, but your experience sounds like ours 3 years ago! They actually gave us a key to a room that was already occupied - and when we tried to get in, there was a chain on the door and a lady told us nicely that we were the 3rd people who had been given keys to her room!! Since they couldn%26#39;t find another room for us (and we%26#39;d had the reservations for over 6 months) they put us in a suite. The explanation of your room definitely fit that so-called suite!! Really sad for a place that used to be so nice. :(
