Roadtrip Louisville to Chicago

My best friend and I are planning a roadtrip from Louisville, KY to CHicago, Ill in late June. Any fun stops to make along the way.

Unfortunately there isn%26#39;t much on I65 between here and Chicago besides Indianapolis. They have some nice museums and a zoo with a cool dolphin exhibit. My daughter and I just recently did the dolphin encounter where we were able to get in the water with them! There are also a few outlet malls in Indiana, or if you want to go a bit out of the way you could do Brown County Indiana, just get off the interstate at Columbus, IN on Hwy 46 west. What are your interests?

Depends on what you think is fun.

Could stop off at Purdue University and tour the campus. It%26#39;s beautiful that time of year. Harry%26#39;s Chocolate Shop is a definite to wet your whistle.

Could also take a canoe trip down the Tippecanoe River.

Indiana Beach....it%26#39;s so so.

If you like shopping, stop off at the Edinburgh Outlets. Have always found great deals there.

If you like architecture, I%26#39;ve heard Columbus has a lot of stuff. Never been myself.

Indiana Dunes is pretty cool too...

Our family loves to stop at the Fair Oaks Dairy Farm - exit 230. It is a working dairy farm with gourmet cheeses, ice cream and a tour of the farm.

We also love the outlet mall at Exit 76.
