Cheap/free (office) team outing

I am in charge of coordinating our large quarterly team outings. This quarter we have very little money (none really) and I am trying to think of ideas of cheap things to do as a large group (35+) We usually do an event (baseball game, go carts, paintball, laser tag, etc...) and then go eat and drink. I can%26#39;t think of anything to do that%26#39;s cheap for the event. I thought of museums but everyone would hate that. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I am desperate.

Thanks!

How many people? What are their ages? How much money is cheap? How far are you willing to drive?

Contact the parks department and inquire about the covered patio at Cherokee Park called Hogan%26#39;s Fountain. There are basketball courts and barbecue pits there. You could have a pot luck picnic and provide the grilled stuff. Organize relay races, water balloon toss, cornhole, frisbee , etc.

What about a day at Churchill Downs during the regular season? General Admission at the gate is $3. You could get a couple of drink vouchers or cheap box lunches and let people bet on their own.

Beautiful setting. Something different. Not a lot of work for you...
