First time visitor

Hi, My husband and I are planning to take a trip to kentucky so time around the early part of November. Most of the time he would be visiting some work sites, while i will be at the hotel. I am not sure which hotel we will be staying at, but i am hoping it is not far from the shopping area, since i am a big shopping fan. Can u give me a little advice as how to find my way around pass the hotel front door.Also some places of interest for site seeing.

Which town will you be staying in?

we will be staying in the town of Louisville. Which hotel is still undecided,but i will keep u posted as soon as i have that information.
