travel from airport to Ashland

We are traveling to Ashland and were told to fly into Lexington. It is much less expensive than flying into Huntington. Having said that, how do we get from Lexington to Ashland? Any suggestions?

google maps from Bluegrass field to Ashland. You will take 64 east. There are 3 exits to get off of 64 to Ashland, more info needed on specifics as to where you are going. I am from Ashland and used to drive 64 from Lexington. Huntington is much closer so I would figure in costs of rental cars in Lex and gas to make my final determination. It is about a 90 minute to 2 hours drive depending on how fast you drive from Lex to Ashland! Huntington Tri State Airport is 15 minutes away and again depends on where you are going. Not a lot to do in Ashland. Where are you staying? There is a mall, the park is nice to walk especially if you are going soon, the trees will be beautiful. Central Park right in the middle of town. Typical chain restaurants, Outback, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, O%26#39;Charley%26#39;s. Not any nightlife at all. I left once I found out there are places that stay open past 9:00 PM, lol. Let me know if you have any other questions.
