Six Flags Fright Fest

There%26#39;s not much on here about it. Has anyone been to it? We have season passes to another park, so we can get in for free. I%26#39;m trying to decide between spending a weekend in Louisville or Chicago, with the main reason for visiting each to be going to Six Flags. Thanks!

Six Flags Fright Fest

Hi pro

First:

Just checked the 6 Flags website.

Chicago has 63 rides, Louisville has 30 rides.

Obviously the Chicago park is going to be a lot bigger with more to do.

Both parks have the Frighfest.

Second:

I love my hometown. But, if I had a chance to spend a weekend in Chicago or Louisville, I%26#39;d have to pick Chicago. What a town.

Six Flags Fright Fest

We%26#39;ve actually been to both parks before, just not to Fright Fest. Chicago is a larger, nicer park, but the reviews for Fright Fest in Chicago are pretty bad. Basically they say that all of the staff has quit to return to school and all rides have a two hour wait and food or drinks has an hour wait. I am curious whether Fright Fest in Louisville has the same reputation?

We wouldn%26#39;t be seeing much of anything else in Chicago. The trip is pretty short, and Six Flags is pretty far from the city.

Chicago is also a longer drive and I am thinking the weather may be better in Louisville in late October.

By the way, I think your city is very nice. Last time we spent an afternoon by the river. The kids rented scooters and had a great time. We%26#39;ve also been to a huge go-kart track not too far away that is their all-time favorite track.

I%26#39;ve never been to fright fest but my 16 yr old goes every year with her friends. She talks of riding roller coasters over and over. I%26#39;ve not once heard her complain of long lines, especially for food and drinks. Because the Louisville 6 flags is smaller it draws smaller crowds than it%26#39;s counterpart in Chicago. If you are choosing based on crowd size and lines, I%26#39;d have to suggest Louisville.

Good luck and have fun!
