Pet-friendly cabins near Land Between the Lakes NRA

We are heading to LBL in March for the Trail Run with our dog and are having a hard time finding pet-friendly cabins in LBL or surrounding state parks. Any ideas??

Have you checked out Kenlake State Resort on Kentucky Lake? I was there for a meeting once, and there was a coon dog meeting going on and there were dogs around all the cabins.

Thanks all! KenLake does not allow pets unfortunately and we are only staying 2 days, but whispering pines does sound nice! Looks like we%26#39;ll be staying at the Best Western in Grand Rivers! ;-)

I%26#39;m the marketing director for Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers and we have pet friendly condos for future reference. There is a minimal cleaning fee.

If that%26#39;s the Ultra Run you are speaking of, I was there! How was it running in all the snow?

it is great to hear that you do allow pets. I just visited your website and searched for availablity and all cabins had a side note that pets were NOT allowed. I am a little confused now.

We would like to spend Memorial Day weekend at your resort but don%26#39;t want to travel without our dogs.

I would appreciate a definite answer on this.

Hi:

We have 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom condominiums here at Green Turtle Bay. Some of our condos allow pets, some do not. It depends on what is available. What was available at the time you checked online must have been one that did not allow pets.

For those that do, we do have a pet cleaning fee beginning at $40 for a 1 bedroom.

Unfortunately, if you are firm on your date which I imagine you are for Memorial Day, we are now totally booked for that weekend. I would suggest Lighthouse Landing here in Grand Rivers as a second choice. We also could put you on a cancellation list.
