Places to eat right off of I-64

We will be driving through Louisville this weekend on the way to Minneapolis. Can anyone reccommend a place to eat that is right off of the highway. I am looking for something other than a chain. Thanks

There are many restaurants at the I64 Hurstbourne lane exit. However, there are many, many chains and the traffic is awful so I%26#39;ll spare you a couple decent ones around the area.

My suggestion is the L%26amp;N Wine Bistro on Mellwood Ave. More thann 100 glasses of wine by the glass, great food and atmosphere, ourdoor dining as well. You can make a reservation at www.opentable.com

Here%26#39;s a map..get off I-64 at Mellwood and take a right. It will be a couple blocks down on your left.

It wouldn%26#39;t let me post the map! Go to mapquest or google maps and type in that address. Great place, you%26#39;ll love it!

KT%26#39;s Restaurant is immediately off of the Grinstead Exit aka Exit #8. Go to the end of the exit ramp. Take a left and go under the underpass. Take your first right (Lexington Ave.) You%26#39;ll see it on your left.

There%26#39;s outdoor seating on the patio if the weather isn%26#39;t too hot. Otherwise, I like to sit in the bar area. There are several TV%26#39;s. Bypass the hostess (even if there%26#39;s a wait), since you don%26#39;t have to wait to be seated in the bar. Even the booths in the bar area are seat yourself. Note: All restaurants and bars in Louisville are non-smoking.

Here%26#39;s the menu:

Seagrover, do you like KT%26#39;s? I%26#39;ve had so many bad experiences there, I hesitate to send anyone. I%26#39;ll only go if there are young children in tow, because they have lots of kids there and it%26#39;s noisy. They have no chefs, only kitchen managers. Different strokes, I guess, but I forgot to mention August Moon across the street from KT%26#39;s. It%26#39;s delicious, pan-asian and has an award winning chef.

Yes I do. I like to go with the hubby and sit in the bar -- especially on lazy Sundays. Drink Bloody%26#39;s and eat the Prime Rib sandwich with extra horseradish. Different strokes.
