Does anyone have info on the Spring Hill Suites Downtown ?

It looks like the hotel is new and there are no reviews anywhere. My husband, myself and two sons, 14 and 15 are stopping for one night on our way to Ohio (from Georgia). Our goal is to come in late on a Thursday night- go to the Slugger museum Friday morning (they also want bats) and then head out to finish our trip. I would like to stay close to the museum but the Marriott is $289. This hotel has suites for $159 and also reward point stays available. Is it in a good area (safe to come in late at night?). Is it nice? Thanks for your help. Any other advice is appreciated also.

If you click hotel photos, there are 2 traveler reviews on expedia, which are great reviews. Hotel was sceduled to open in April 2008, so yes it is new, and looks very nice.

As far as safe, I wouldn%26#39;t hesitate to stay there.

Hope you have time for breakfast in our city, as we have some good places to go...Toast, Lynns Paradise Cafe to name a couple... have fun.

Thank you 123Thomas. We had a great time. We ended up staying at the 21C hotel for $20 more a night and it was interesting and almost next to the Louisville Slugger museum. We took your advice and ate at Toast on Market for breakfast after the museum and it was GREAT! Especially the pancakes. It was a fun city- hope to go back soon.

Glad you had a great time and enjoyed your stay.

Come back and visit us soon!

Thanks for your reviews.
