Hi, my boyfriend and I are hoping to stay in Lexington on the 8th August just the one night , could any one recommend a hotel, close to bars with live blue grass music if possible thank you

For bars within walking distance, you will want to stay downtown at either the Hyatt, the Radisson, or the Gratz Park Inn. Several of the downtown bars will have live music, although I%26#39;m not sure it will be of the ';bluegrass'; variety.

Looks like the Rudies are playing at Cheapside Bar %26amp; Grill that night. Not Bluegrass, but fun ska.

I second Gratz Park Inn. We had to stay in the Presidential Suite one night several years ago when everything else was booked. Our friends stayed in the Governor%26#39;s Suite. Everyone thought we were important!

Furlongs is a good dinner spot. They started here in Louisville and specialize in Cajun cuisine.
