High temperatures will be in the 30%26#39;s or 40%26#39;s, and a good possibility of snow and ice.
weather in early january in kentucky
John, I had a baby in January. We had a blizzard and 14 inches of snow on the ground. Roads were closed, the entire city shut down.
That was in 1994, but I%26#39;ll never forget being stranded without electricity with a one day old baby.Seriously, January can be very unpredictable. The drive could be on ice. It seems to me that Atlanta has more ice storms than we do, actually. Always refer to www.weather.com for updates when traveling.
thanks for your advice.just as i thought. i think we would be safer visiting kentucky in a safer season!!.cheers john
Consider April or early May, or Late September and October. Those are normally a beautiful time to be here. (Also, be aware that in January, you could also face icy conditions in Atlanta!)
