hi, i live in newport south wales uk,home of the 2010 ryder cup what sort of prices are the 2008 ryder cup tickets.i am working at the celtic manor as a greenkeeper and am interested in how much they are going for , i also plan to rent my second home for the week as it is 3 miles from the resort.they are talking here of 5000 us dollers for a weeks rental in newport .

On the the following website you can see the asking prices for many homes during the Ryder Cup. Some of the places are marked ';rented';, but I don%26#39;t see any prices under those. They all read $0. So it is hard to tell what folks are actually getting for rent. I only saw asking prices.

I suspect you should get $5000 US fairly easy. You might do even better.
I just checked a ticket sales website for Cup tickets. They were asking $750 - $950 for one day ticket.
