Intro to Caving Tour?

Hi! We%26#39;re planning a trip to Mammoth Caves and are having some trouble deceiding which tours would be best. We thought maybe the Grand Ave. Tour one day to see the main formations and then possibly the Intro to Caving Tour the next day. I%26#39;ve read the reviews of the Wild Cave Tour, but has anyone taken the Intro tour? Is it really like the Wild Cave Tour, ';but less of it,'; as the website says? We are both young (24 and 27) and in good shape but since we%26#39;ve never been caving before we were worried the Wild Cave Tour might be a little too much. The other option was to go on the Grand Ave Tour-Historical Tour instead. What would you recommend?

Intro to Caving Tour?

I haven%26#39;t done the wild cave or intro to caving tours, but I did the Historical and New Entrance Tours. Both tours were excellent.

If you have any doubts, I think I would do the Grand Ave/Historical tours. You can always call the park and ask questions; the rangers give you very candid descriptions of each tour and appropriate warnings when needed. I do know any of the ';wild'; tours are not for the claustrophobic or anyone who is not very fit. From your post, I don%26#39;t think your fitness level would be an issue. I know I wouldn%26#39;t like the crawling around...not for me! And I love touring caves!!

Thanks for your help! We ended up choosing the Grand/Historical tours. Maybe we%26#39;ll save the Intro tour for another trip. :)
