Best places to eat after the Grand Tour in Mammoth Cave

The four hour tours are all early in the day. We will be staying in Horse Cave and wonder where the best place to eat would be? I expect to be in the area for five days and will probably hit all the popular sights as well as a side trip to Louisville. Any suggestions on places to eat with a hungry teenage boy in tow? (Nothing fancy as he is not dressing up for anybody.)

We liked the Sahara Steak House in Cave City. It%26#39;s about 8 miles away from Mammoth. It%26#39;s a Mom %26amp; Pop place..not fancy, but the food is great. Steaks and chicken melt in your mouth. There is a great salad bar there, along with excellent vegetable soup.

I think the onsite eateries (at MC Nat%26#39;l Park) are just fine; we went in the off-season when not all were open, but the main one was reasonably priced, had charm (cave pics on wall) and good service, and the food was wonderful; can%26#39;t see going elsewhere.

What eateries are available in the park?

Go to the Park Mammoth Lodge in Park City. It%26#39;s been there forever and the food is good. Home-style- if that%26#39;s what you like. Nothing fancy.
