When we%26#39;re at Mammoth Cave, we%26#39;ll definitely do a cave tour, but we also like hiking. Are there any ';must do'; hikes? Which trails are the most interesting/scenic?
Best hiking trails
I am going there this weekend for a hiking/kayaking trip so I am searching for the same. I learned from another forum that the Sal Hollow trail is the best for hiking because there are no horses allowed on it. The other trails, though beautiful, are muddy and rutty from the horses. I did read that the wet prong of buffalo creek loop has many creek crossings if you like that sort of thing..I know I like to stay close to water. Hope this helps
