Any ideas on a spot to have a bachelorette party around Louisville? Thinking around September 26-27, 2008?
HELP! Im in Ohio and no nothing about this area!!!
bachelorette party
Let us know a little bit more about what type of bachelorette party you want to have. Off the top of my head.......
There aren%26#39;t any male ';exotic'; dancing clubs in the area. I%26#39;ve noticed that sometimes they will advertise male review shows every now %26amp; then at the female strip clubs.
There%26#39;s a large gay bar named ';Connections'; that gets a lot of bachelorette groups. On Saturday night they used to do a big drag show. I haven%26#39;t been in years, so call %26amp; confirm times etc.

Fourth Street Live is an entertainment complex with lots of bars %26amp; pubs. It%26#39;s a little touristy, but may be perfect for a bachelorette party.

There%26#39;s always Bardstown Rd. Louisville%26#39;s bar %26amp; restaurant row. You could always start with dinner at one of the restaurants along Bardstown Rd. and then do a ';pub'; crawl (aka Bambi Walk) from bar to bar. I see them every weekend.
There also this thingy. I see it cruising with parties up %26amp; down Bardstown Rd. a lot.

Depending upon the weekend, there may be other events, live music etc. in the area. Check Velocity and LEO for scheduled events.

bachelorette party
That gives me some ideas! Thanks so much! I also noticed there wasn%26#39;t alot of male strips either! Darn
A friend rented one of these party buses from Aztec Limousines to take a bunch of us to a concert over the weekend. The cost was $20 (plus tip) and it held about 22 of us. Our rental was basically a pick-up and drop-off sort of set up. It would probably be significantly more expensive if they drive you around for several hours. They did a good job. Showed up on time etc. http://www.azteclimousine.com/
Seagrover...you old hussy!
LOL...i also had a friend who rented the Party pool Express....a classic old fire truck.

No, the male strip thing never caught on here much. However, you could take the aforemntioned modes of transportation and hit several hot spots, I guess.
I think you would have a great time at Captain%26#39;s Quarters on the river. Always big groups, bands, dancing and loads of fun. Much better thn the canned music at 4th St live. However, check the Louisville tourist bureau hot line/calendar that I provided in my golist for Louisville. There are many events in town that weekend.

I agree with Connection. If you ladies love to dance, then you%26#39;ll love this place. Outrageous scene, plenty of crazy people watching, and the drag show (yes, still happening) is a blast.
Have fun.
